Background

 Barbanzae Iria and Valle del Miño. There are 15.28 ha registered in A Coruña, 5.33 ha in Lugo, 600.61 ha in Ourense and 232.39 ha in Pontevedra, with the majority of the area corresponding to the sub-area of ​​the Condado del Tela.

Variety of sprouted and late ripening; production and vigor compared to the Albariño; moderately sensitive to powdery mildew, mildew and botrytis. It produces balanced wines whose graduation varies depending on the growing area between 11 to 13.5% v / v, the acidity between 5 to 7.5 g / L and the pH between 3 to 3.4. The wines have medium-high aromatic intensity, with aromas of pip fruit, apple, pear, and peach; they are structured and persistent with a certain final bitterness characteristic of the variety.

Morphological description
